Woodley Basketball from Yesteryear
As these newspaper clippings show, Woodley Basketball Club has been around for a good long while — almost 35 years in fact!
The A Team photos show current club chairman Trevor Funnell sporting a nice beard (click the images to get a better look at that), along with Larry Ford who is currently playing for the Harriers. Also pictured are Geoff Taylor, Ricky Harrison and Andy Tayler, all of whom enjoyed long and sucessful Woodley careers, only retiring a few seasons ago.
Does anyone know when these articles were published? Or have other Woodley related articles they can share?
